My girls...

I finally found the time to photograph my own girls a couple of weeks ago. It was freezing rain at the time, but I told them to think warm thoughts...they weren't buying it. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am currently working on getting everyone who has ordered or requested Christmas card samples a proof by early next week.

December is always particularly busy and hectic, but my wish for you all is a peaceful Christmas season. Enjoy the small moments like baking cookies and watching holiday movies.
Merry Christmas to you all!

Thanksgiving? Already?

Did you know that Thanksgiving is next week? I just realized that this morning and have been freaking out about it ever since. Somehow I have managed to volunteer myself to host the family for Thanksgiving dinner and my mom's big Christmas shindig. Can you say, "stressed"? Oh well! I'm sure it will all work out fine...that is called "wishful thinking" and it is the only thing keeping me going right now.
For all of you who have sent in your card orders...THANK YOU! I will be working all week to get your samples emailed to you. Don't hesitate to have me make changes...these are an expression of your family, and I want you to love them.

Please check out some pics from a recent senior photo shoot of Elizabeth...we had a lot of fun that day.

Thanksgiving blessings!

The White Family...Alec, Colleen, Mackenzie, & Madeline

I have been taking pictures of these little dolls since they were both just days old...my how they've grown! Take a look at the precious shots from their latest photo shoot...our first outside. It was a bit on the chilly (down right cold) side, but they were troopers. Way to go, girls! And Mom and Dad didn't do so bad either.
Have a great week! Can you believe next week is Thanksgiving? We should all count our blessings...I know I am.

Macie, Macie, Macie

I always have fun taking Macie's pictures, but we had an especially good time at Farmington on Friday. She is about to turn 3, and boy does she have a personality. Take a look at the pictures from our day...she had fun with her hat that her grandmother made her, and I love the way her sweater looks in pictures (also made by her grandmother). Happy Early Birthday, Macie!

Love and blessings!

Down on the farm...

Thank you to all who have placed Christmas card orders this past weekend. I am steadily working through all photo shoot proofs and hope to have cd's completed no later than Wednesday for those photo shoots from the past week or so. Christmas card order deadline is this Friday. I will still be able to take a limited amount of orders after Friday, but there will be a rush charge added to your order.
Last Sunday, I took pictures of a fun extended family. We met at the farm of these little ones grandparents. It was a wonderful place to take pictures and had sentimental meaning for them. Check out some shots from that day below.

Blessings!

The Caple Family...Clay, Jennifer, and Spencer

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who have called this holiday season...and before. I really appreciate all of the new business and am especially blessed to have so many of my "regulars". We will be going out of town on December 11th, so I will soon be wrapping up my holiday photo shoots and Christmas card orders. Please try to get those orders in by Friday, November 21st. Any orders placed after that time may be subject to a rush fee in order to get cards back in time to mail for Christmas.
I feel completely blessed and completely overwhelmed with how the business has grown this year. I keep trying to convince my husband that I need a housekeeper and my own workroom...he's not buying yet. I'll keep working on him.

Well, I am off to shop for a dining room table and chairs...thanks to my little Audrey who broke the arms off of one of my chairs yesterday and who poured fingernail polish remover on the table last year. I'm thinking cheap, cheap, cheap. Kind of like my $10 Goodwill coffee table...I never stress about that one.

Love and holiday blessings!

The Goldsteins...Abby, Jacob, Lily & Jonathon (and Mom and Dad, too)

What a beautiful morning...I met this group out at Farmington Historic Plantation. Who knew that they would be using it as a polling station for the election. Oh well...other than a little extra traffic, this photo shoot location was beautiful. Take a look below at some of the special moments.
God bless!
