Fall is here...

Don't you just love this weather...when the days are cool enough for jeans, but not cold enough for a coat? I can finally pull out some of the new fall clothes I've bought for the girls and put away the tanks and shorts that I feel they've been wearing forever.

I am still taking appts. for Christmas pictures, but times are limited. Remember, if you just can't find the time to get a photo shoot scheduled, you can send me your digital pics, and I can design a unique Christmas card for your family.

Busy, busy, busy!

What a whirlwind weekend! Annie turned 7 on Saturday, but we have celebrating for a week. I just wanted to get some new images posted and to let everyone know that it is never too early to get your Christmas cards ordered. I am still booking photo shoots for Christmas, but spaces are limited so please call soon. You can also send me digital images of your photos, and I can design a unique Christmas card from them...I have lots of new ideas for cards this year.

Just wanted to post a few new birth announcements...these were three samples I did for the same family. The final one can't be revealed until they are mailed and in the recipients hands...I can't ruin the surprise.

What a storm!

Well I hope is everyone is recovering from yesterday's crazy wind storm. We lost a fence and a tree, but luckily the damage was minimal. This time at home has given me time to work on a lot of editing and Christmas/Halloween card design.

Where were you?

My daughter had to do a presentation on her school news today about September 11, 2001. We had to look up pictures on the internet for a posterboard. She also had some pictures from NYC in the past 4 years that she had taken herself on several trips there with her father. Looking at those images brought back so many memories...where were you? I was driving down Shelbyville Road after having dropped Gracie off at preschool. I was enormously pregnant with Annie. I remember standing in carpool at noon talking to other moms about the tragedy that had befallen our country. These are things that I just couldn't convey to Grace as she prepared her presentation. There are just some things that cannot be described completely. Please take some time this week to remember the families that were changed that day. Pray for their continued healing.
